Annette Funicello is an American actor and singer. She was most well-known as one of the Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". Her career in singing began when she was an adolescent. As a "Mouseketeer" in Disney's sketches, Annette gained considerable popularity in the 1950s. Annette's "Disney" persona was discarded after she turned an adult and started playing roles for adults.
