Sofia Vergara
Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara is a Colombian actress who was born and raised in Barranquilla. Margarita Vergara Davila De Vergara is employed as a housekeeper. Her father, Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo offers cattle to the industry of meat. She is the youngest of five siblings. She was educated at an English/Spanish bilingual private school. Following her studies in pre-dental she began working within the modeling and TV business. Sofia was found by a cameraman in the beach. After that, she began to work in modeling and television. At the age of 23, she became a model. From 1995 until 1998, she was co-hosting a traveling show, Fuera de serie (1995) in which she gained exposure in and around the United States. The first movie role she played was in the crime comedy Big Trouble (2002). Gloria Delgado Pritchett was the character that helped her become the main character on Modern Family, an American TV show (2009). She received four Emmys in the years 2010 and 2013 for Outstanding Supporting Actress for the Comedy Series. Sofia shares a home with son Manolo and her son Manolo in Los Angeles.
