Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies typically that are in the martial arts or horror genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and a morbid enjoyment of these films. After gaining some fame on the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She began to review films in the latter half of 2009. Her site remained up until the early days of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which cover the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones has had her appear as a guest in several episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows as well as occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she was a reviewer was late 2009. She earned a great deal of attention through Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
