Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale plays professional basketball in the Dallas Wings, a team that is part of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played basketball in college with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings were drafted with the fifth pick of this year's WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born February 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Parents Yolanda Gregory Ogunbowale. She has two brothers Mario (26 and 26 years young) and Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). Ogunbowale has won gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships as well as the 2014 FIBA U17 world Championships, and the 2013 U18 FIBA 3x3 Championships. The USA Youth Olympic Team was announced as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first year of collegiate basketball. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for a number of big shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, a relative newcomer to basketball, has become a major star. She will surely remain consistent in her career.
